Paniquill: Anxiety

The Art of Worrying About Worrying

Feeling anxious is a normal part of life. Many people experience it before a public speech, a big exam, or a job interview. During these moments, anxiety can bring physical symptoms like rapid breathing, dizziness, or an upset stomach. These responses help prepare the body for challenges by sending more blood to the brain and sharpening focus.

However, when anxiety lingers too long or occurs too often, it can interfere significantly with daily life. It may begin to affect how you think, feel, and act, as well as impact your physical health in serious ways. Anxiety disorders often start in adolescence or young adulthood, underscoring the importance of recognizing symptoms early and finding healthy ways to manage them.
